If not, call your dentist’s office and request them, asking to stay on the line to make sure you receive them successfully. Then, you could send them to him for a second opinion from a friend, if you want. My husband has been a general dentist for decades. He tries to save what a patient has before recommending expensive stuff.

Thanks folks for telling me he was a dentist! I hadn't known that. My strong guess is that I won't be able to get an implant but I have an appt. with my dentist who can examine my dental situation and give me feedback.
