Conjures nice feelings of childhood innocence.

There was nothing better than pumpkin carving time!

Cutting the top off and digging your hand in there to scoop out the insides.

I used to get so excited carving a pumpkin!

And then, SO MANY trick or treaters!

It's not like that today unfortunately. A lot of years, we don't get ANY trick or treaters. It's too bad, I miss those days.

There's a pumpkin with no top but a floating stem! And the bat and ghost cutouts under the table have come to life!

I like the sentiment of that image as well.

Unfortunately we don't receive many trick or treaters either. It's quite disappointing.

when we moved from Seattle to the outskirts Spokane, is the trick or treaters. 11 years ago 1 tricker in all that time. Love doing the house up and just... the whole thing.

Don't even bother now. My wife gets bummed more than I but hell we still buy some candy.

I generally get the snack sized individual wrapped rice krispie treats and the variety snack sized of chips.

I let what little amount of trick or treaters choose two items.
