However my wife (bless her!) found that Turkey Hill has a new Peach ice cream and bought some.

I can personally attest it is gloriously delicious! Maybe a limited release...look for it!

To get Free Ice Cream you had to write a quick postcard for any of 3 choices of causes. 1 card, one scoop, 2, for 2, etc.

Chocolate for me, but they also had ?sweet ice cream with fresh peach slices! Which I'd never heard of. Oh, yum!
It takes something really serious to lure me away from chocolate! 😄

but the last ice cream I had was a raspberry sorbet, which was awesome, and I guess that makes it my favorite until the next time I have something memorable.

It reminds me of Dryers Dutch chocolate from many years ago. In the summer I'd keep a small bottle of peppermint schnapps in the freezer & pour a shot over my ice cream for an icy-cold, chocolaty-mint experience!

I’d always understood that that was the first flavor of ice cream served in the White House but that may not be true.

2 scoops with a handful of raspberries thrown in there. Won’t be much longer now, the raspberries are covered with blooms and the bees are busy!

Plain Dark Chocolate and I used to eat Butter Brickle but it seems hard to find now around my area. Same with Maple ice cream. When I was a kid we could get Maple ice cream with a fudge sauce swirl or Maple with walnuts or brickle/toffee. Some brands have a toffee pieces ice cream but it is usually mixed with other things. Some of the brands when I was a kid had the brickle made so that it was a little less toffee/smoky flavor and it was a little softer as I recall.

I do like to switch and go with Rocky Road or another flavor but I always come back to chocolate.

One flavor I liked, but can't find locally, is root beer flavored ice cream. My dad bought some from the Navy commissary back in the 90s and it was great.

...and only available in harvest time.

I remember, as a kid, we always had butter pecan ice cream in the house. It was my grandmother's and uncle's favorite. I liked it too.

Omg so yummy, and whole pistachios to boot.

They have no crap in their ingredients.

For store-bought, New York Super Fudge Chocolate Chunk and Cherry Garcia.

In an ice cream parlor, I look for rum raisin, if they have it. Seasonally, pumpkin is good.

Homemade, Dreamsicle (vanilla mixed with OJ concentrate). The same trick works well with pineapple juice concentrate and I suppose I'll have to try limeade concentrate sometime.

Ltely I’ve been on a Yasso mint chocolate chip kick for dessert.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I enjoy the cool mint flavor much more than the chocolate chips, which I could do without. If someone made just plain mint ice cream, I would totally buy that!

But, back in the Baskin-Robbins days, I loved the pistachio almond & the daiquiri ice.
I know it's a weird combination, but I'd get one scoop of each.
Butter pecan is my favorite that I can get anywhere.

Many companies make a black raspberry chip, but they a pale in comparison with Graeter's.
