I'm sorry it has taken so long to post this. I got home almost six hours ago and it feels like 15 minutes went by.

So, long story short, I am now scheduled for a triple-bypass as I have 3 different arteries with above 80% blockage.
The surgery will be at Barnes-Jewish in St. Louis February 21 with a 5 am arrival. For those of you that appreciate Monty Python, I now present as the diner in the fancy restaurant right after he blew up. You know, ribcage stretched wide open, heart visibly beating etc.
and now, back to regular programming.
He stated I can expect a 7-10 day stay in the hospital followed by a 1-2 month stay at a rehab "Hospital", I used to call them nursing homes lol. Please forgive the feeble attempts at humor, I just feel like I lost 50LBS in getting hard factual information instead of the unknown. I'm thrilled that I have viable solutions at hand and basically need to avoid any of the usual stuff that causes chest pain.
So much of the reason I feel so good is all about you and the support and love that flows so freely here. I went there with a blanket of love that kept me warm and comfortable. I felt no anxiety, as a matter of fact, I had to calm my sister down who had the envious task of supporting me while her son Cody was finishing the last hour of the Crucible. She is now the proud MoM (Mother of a Marine) and Cody of course, Became one.
All in all an amazing day filled with hope, joy, facts, certainty, celebration, elation and what I truly believe are miracles in progress.
I want to thank each and every one of you for the miracle of your love and support. It makes inspirational sayings like this one sooooo true.
You are stronger than you think. You are more capable than you ever dreamed. You are loved more than you can possibly imagine. Ritu Ghatourey
This is what you keep giving me. Belief, Hope, Faith, and a simple knowing that I am not alone. I've read Tarot cards in the past and you all inspire in me the Ancestors card from The New Orleans Voodoo Tarot deck.
The New Orleans Voodoo Tarot- key 20-Ancestors, represents the thousand voices of Souls, that cry out within us all. The hands of the ancestors weave our destiny out of threads made of the waters of creation. According to the author, Louis Martinié, it is believed that to hear the cry of these souls, to feel the twistings to this thread, is to know our Name in its most pregnant fullness. We are all an inheritor of the Greatness that knows no end or beginning and the ancestors share this greatness with us often as words of wisdom. These ancestors, are of the Soul Collective. In your very Solar Self, i.e., Soul, are the many persona that have been "alive" before you. Each Soul is a collective of the many personalities that it has created as its self, it is an I AM, and before you the Soul was proclaiming its existence. This Great Solar Self, is a complete copy of the Universal Collective Unconscious, The Divine Creative and/or the Great Photon Sun at the Center of our Galaxy. Your Solar Self, is a composite of "like personas" as suns are made of composites of particles in Megalithic Clouds.

Your gifts are those shared through values and ideas you've learned and adopted through the years from your learning and environment and experiences.
Your love and kind wishes are from hearts open to so many special moments because an "Ancestor" made it safer.
For all the moments, memories and that brought us together, I thank you and everyone that helped you get here and even more for honoring me with room in that amazing place called your life.
Love,
John
