Still missing! Andy is the son of my childhood friend Jack Chapman.
It's been 18 years since Andrew Chapman disappeared and although so much time has passed since he went missing, his family is hopeful the New Year and two newly donated billboards will finally bring them some answers.
Chapman, who lived on the Hilltop, vanished Dec. 8, 2006, at the age of 32. In the years since he went missing, Chapman's family hasn't stopped looking for him and on Jan. 1 they gathered to commemorate new billboards for him along West Broad Street in the neighborhood he was last seen.
"We love you and we miss you Andy," his sister Aimee Chapman said. "We're waiting for you with open arms."
The two billboards, located at 1840 W. Broad St. and 3421 W. Broad St., will be up for six months and are expected to be seen by passersby nearly one million times, Aimee Chapman said. Whether it be a former roommate, friend or neighbor, she hopes the billboards spur someone to come forward who knows her brother's whereabouts.
