(129 posts)And there are a number of their songs I still really like, ever since they came out when I was 11-14 (or earlier). Nights on Broadway is hand's down my favorite of theirs, and I'm looking forward to watching it on here (Kennedy Center sound/recording is always killer too). Jive Talking, How Deep is Your Love round out my top 3.
p.s. I had the Andy Gibb record, think I asked for it as a gift, then played it a ton (though mostly just the hits) when I was like, 11 or so. And the Sgt Peppers travesty on vinyl as well. Two great things came out of that though ... EWF and Aerosmith made two iconic covers on it. When the 'smith plays it in that movie, it's pretty badass. I was already a huge fan of theirs, owning TITA, which was the first album I bought with my own money.
Anyways, thanks, bout to rock it now, really loud

Well, I had to follow you, Though you did not want me to
But that won't stop my lovin' you, I can't stay away

I will wait
Even if it takes forever, I will wait
Even if it takes a lifetime,
Somehow I feel inside, You never ever left my side
Make it like it was before, Even if it takes a lifetime, takes a lifetime, ooh"
I DJ parties in my retirement community. It's mostly women 70-90 years old. The Bee Gees are always a hit, especially for dancing.
