one of my cats was a stray who was left behind when people moved out.....I fed her for years but couldn't adopt her because she fought with my cat.....when that cat passed, she promptly moved in - I've had her for six years now

I will never understand people who treat pets like a piece of furniture

They shouldn't be allowed to take care of a living human, animal or plant. They can never be trusted.

Never underestimate the cruelty of humans. Nor their desire for self satisfaction ('Now I don't have feed the little turd!')

People next door to a friend of mine moved out and left a bunch of cats behind. She was able to find homes for all of them, and the one I took is a lovable ginger boy. I had to get him fixed and get his vaccines. How irresponsible some people are is maddening! Grrrr.

I’m happy for Rolo that this woman was observant and kindhearted enough to take him in.
