I have an idea. “Drill, baby, drill” directly offshore of Mar-a-Lago.

I’m sure the people of Palm Beach would be thrilled to do their part to support President-elect Donald Trump’s favorite mantra.

I’m imagining some “big, beautiful” oil derricks within eyeshot of the club, pumping some of that lovely crude oil — maybe directly into a pipeline that comes up the beach and passes through the buffet line on the lanai.

Sure, the Palm Beach shoreline will be dotted with tide-delivered tar balls (freedom pellets!) washing ashore. But it’s a small price to pay.
