This is What Obeying in Advance Looks Like

Monday night, CNN ran the ridiculous headline: “Trump considers US expansion.” As if that wasn’t bad enough, the subtitle was: “If he's serious, a territorial expansion into Panama, Greenland, and Canada would rival the Louisiana Purchase.”

None of this is serious—especially not Trump. Canada isn’t becoming our 51st state. Greenland is not for sale. And the Panama Canal isn’t going to be taken back from Panama. Period.

It’s not just CNN. The NY Times said: “Trump’s Wish to Control Greenland and Panama Canal: Not a Joke This Time.” AP, Reuters, Forbes, NBC, and so many others posted stories that made it seem like it was actually a possibility.

Give me a break. All this does is weaken America on the world stage, and it shows Trump to be the clueless, petty bully he is.

Mexico is advancing and we are declining. Our press would be wise to start reporting more about other countries. It would give these news outlets a more balanced perspective.

The NYT seems to be operating in the shadow of Trump and MAGA.

The rule of law in the country is very weak as the police, prosecutors and judges are often corrupt or just trying to get by in a corrupt system. They have a ways to go before they pass us.

Our Supreme Court is immensely corrupt as is our election funding for just two examples. A third is the corrupt influence of organized religion. A fourth is is corruption of money laundering in banking and real estate.

We have not faced our understood the depth of our corruption and we are just at the beginning of acknowledging. How it has transformed our society for the worse since the 1990s.

Every day, some news story about Trump made its rounds of the manstream media. I wish I had counted, in one evening of watching MSNBC, the number of times the name "Donald Trump" was mentioned.

They helped him win it in 2016, when he should have been laughed out as a ridiculous, know-nothing, insane megalomaniac. But they wouldn't tell the truth. Money runs this country and the billionaires have been constantly planning how to buy the government they hate so much. Now, they've got it.
