Trump's $100,000 Watches: A Gateway for Illicit Financial Flows?
As the U.S. election draws near, Donald Trump's introduction of a luxury watch priced at $100,000 raises more than eyebrowsit sparks serious concerns about potential loopholes for financial misconduct. Trumps grifts these days are endless. It seems that almost every day he is hawking a new Trump Coin, a pack of NFT trading cards, or a Trump Bible. An in-depth investigation into these Trump-branded Tourbillon watches reveals several aspects that could potentially enable secretive and unregulated financial activities, which could allow for large amounts of cash to flow into Donald Trumps bank account from unknown sources at a critical moment before the 2024 presidential election.
Key to the controversy is the method of payment accepted for these watches. Buyers can use Bitcoin, a digital currency favored for its anonymity. This capability to purchase high-ticket items like the $100,000 Tourbillon watch without traceable financial footprints poses a significant challenge to ensuring financial transparency. It opens the door to the possibility of moving large sums of money discreetly, circumventing traditional financial oversight and potentially violating campaign finance laws.

(18,458 posts)Especially the part about the building being blurred out on Google maps. I had a look on Google earth - the property is sandwiched between a walk in dental clinic and another business but it's still heavily blurred.
So I just did a search for the address - 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, WY, USA. First hit was for this article from The Sheridan Press.

Local auction house ships counterfeit items, scams thousands from bidders
Mar 11, 2023 Updated Mar 15, 2023
SHERIDAN A local business hosting online auctions for vintage luxury items including jewelry and designer bags, Maison de Luxe, LLC, claims in its tagline to be the house where luxury lives. Reviews and shared experiences from auction bidders near and far suggest items won in the companys auctions are far from luxurious, if the items exist at all.
The Maison de Luxe Auction House website, lemaisonauctions.com, is mostly barren with the only contact options being an email account and two street addresses, one a business suite at 1309 Coffeen Ave. and one an office located in La Jolla, California. (end of article but there is THIS image showing the building that is blurred out)
Scammers gotta scam. Edit to add link.

(36,485 posts)It's like expecting the interior of an Amazon warehouse to have a certain degree of luxury since you can get some fairly nice things through Amazon.
It's a warehouse with no foot traffic to speak of.
That's if it's the right building. No opinion on that.

(36,394 posts)I can remember the talk (rumors) back in 2016, which wasn't THAT long ago. Chump was pretty sure he was going to lose to Hillary, and he was planning on setting up his next venture after the election was over.
The venture was going to be a new Chump-media-empire that would have reality shows, fake-news shows, ultra-conservative political talkers like Hannity etc. Yeah it was going to be Chump's version of Faux Noise. That was the REAL REASON why he was running this presidential campaign - so the rumor went - to get the new Chump media empire off the ground. 'Memba that? He even had investors lined up, and then he dropped it all because he "won" the election.
Well it's really looking like these $100G fake-gold watches are part of Chump's NEXT venture, because he KNOWS he's gonna lose in November. He knows he'll never get another TV show like "The Apprentice" again. His new venture is selling really high-priced JUNK to some stupid but rich people. He's got a list of donors and contributors that's worth a goldmine, as long as he can keep finding crap to sell suckers. They'll keep buying it.
