Kamala Harris enjoys a historic boost in popularity.
Kamalas approval rating has soared 16 points since she announced her candidacy on June 22. heres NBCs Steve Kornacki to break it down.
the view, the overall perception of Kamala Harris remember, before she got in the race, a lot of talk that her numbers didnt look better than Bidens. she was 32 positive and 50 negative before getting in this race, and now this is what you see.

(19,023 posts)I read right here on DU this morning that we are definitely losing and the Harris campaign is doing it all wrong
I guess that poster might have it all wrong instead.
Thanks for the Good News!

(6,201 posts)That's like Democratic party tradition, you know. Harris could be 50 points ahead in the polls, and someone would be looking at the NYT/Siena poll, wringing their hands and sobbing over a lost election.
At this point, this former high school government and history teacher, who has some experience looking at and picking winners in elections, thinks this one looks pretty good for Harris. Everything in this post is accurate, and the trends in polling are quite favorable to Harris, moving in the right direction, 43 days before the election. The enthusiasm level, the numbers of new voters rolling in, most of whom fall into demographic groups favoring Democrats, and the big one, the number of volunteers on the ground in swing states.
Here's another bit of good news. I go to Wisconsin once a month between now and the election to help canvass and make calls to get voters out. The enthusiasm is high there, the response excellent, and it's to the issues and the message of Harris' campaign.
