Israel's military set to resume strikes on Beirut

Source: The National

Israel's military is set to resume strikes on Beirut after a US diplomatic initiative failed, hours before a UN Security Council meeting to discuss the Israeli escalation in Lebanon.

A joint statement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz said the military had been instructed to strike "Hezbollah targets" in Beirut's southern suburbs.

Israel has already carried out its deepest ground incursion into Lebanon in 26 years, including the occupation of Beaufort Castle.

The decision to attack Beirut comes after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Mr Netanyahu as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts between Israel and Lebanon, a US official said.

Netanyahu sees a chance to murder all the residents of southern Lebanon and take over their land. Neither Trump nor Republicans will stop him by denying Israel any aid. Instead we just keep sending bombs and weapons to them to kill as many people as possible. We taxpayers are thus supporting Bibi in taking over other countries and murdering people. Absolutely sickening.

...that Lebanon will cease to exist as a country?

The only question is when and will Israel claim that it was promised to them by God!?

Jordan and Syria are on track to fall to Israel and then Egypt!

Then the bombs can fall so the big money rolls right into the proper crypto wallets. All it costs is a few thousand lives, a smallish country or two, and the long-term continuation of rampant antisemitism, right? What a bargain! Such a greatly artful deal! Winning! Even more winning!
