Nashville gas prices climb toward $4 per gallon as Iran war continues

Source: Axios

Gas prices are surging as the war in Iran continues, with the average cost in the Nashville area tilting toward $4 per gallon.
...
The uptick means filling up a 15-gallon tank costs about $19 more than it did before the conflict, per AAA.

By the numbers: The Nashville metro area hit an average price of $3.88 on April 1, according to GasBuddy data. (We've seen stations in parts of the city already setting prices of more than $4.)

The national average on Thursday sat even higher, at $4.08.

MO typically is near the bottom for go-juice prices due to it's location (numerous petroleum pipelines crossing the state).

Nashville is lucky it's not in WA State.

I paid $5.70 for Premium at Costco on Tuesday. Shell stations are >$6 for regular.

Quite a few publications got rid of them - they're filled with right wing trolls who do nothing but post all day, and that hasn't changed since the silly practice started prob 15 years ago.

Regular unleaded gasoline is $4.899/gal at our local station, has been for at least the past week. Phoenix area. And of course it's even more expensive in Northern California. The national press should be reporting western gas prices, too.

Soon to be $6.
All those huge west coast pickup trucks with 30 gallon or more gas tanks are headed toward $200. per fill up.
Add in their abysmal gas mileage and you're looking at a month of driving costing $500 to $1,000!

If you're MAGA, you have to be asking yourself how the fuck this happened. We know the answer to that, but will they ever accept the truth?
Some will, most won't.

But I use pure gas (no ethanol) and thankfully a monthly fill-up is all I need.

It's $8.50 at CA Chevron Stations, $8 in certain Beverly Hills areas.

And don't tell me to move. I'm taking care of my 91 gear old mother.
