ICE to deploy to US airports on Monday

CBP Chief Homan tells CNN's Dana Bash ICE will deploy to US airports on Monday but no one has a fucking idea about the details.

Got up late this morning, turned on CNN, got in on the end of CNN Dana Bash interview with Tom Homan, Trump's "border czar" who said, yes, ICE agents will deploy to US airports starting Monday.

He was very evasive about details, probably because no one has a goddam clue as to what they are doing.

Here is what I recall from the tail end of the interview:

Bash: Which airports?
Homan: We haven't thought about that.

Bash: How many agents?
Homan: We haven't thought about that.

Bash: What will they do?
Homan: We haven't thought about that.

So -- looks as though Trump and his band of idiot children have pulled another stunt out of their asses.

-- Dramatically increase size of ICE as his private army?
-- Deploy them EVERYWHERE -- streets, courthouses, churches, now airports?
-- Put in place "Papers please" and if you don't comply -- beat the shit out of you or worse?

ICE thugs couldn't figure out how to use coffee maker. And he thinks they can swoop in and take over the x-rays and CAT scanners? How are they going to work the computers that verify identities given that they regard Real ID as fake. Those airport lines are going to be epic!

I won't be flying while these mouth-breathers are scanning luggage and passengers.
I also read there are around 60,000 TSA employees and only around 22,000 ICE d-bags, so this is just another stupid tantrum.

Cuz there are a lot, you know. People who would rather tune out than deal with reality. People who think they aren't political or that politics doesn't affect them. I can't believe these guys are going to behave any better in airports than they did on the streets of MN, so maybe if they disrupt all of America's vacation plans, & not just a couple of cities, people will start to take this authoritarian shit seriously.
