Tech giant Palantir exits Denver, moves headquarters to Miami

Source: Scripps News

Posted 6:55 PM, Feb 17, 2026

Palantir Technologies Inc. announced Tuesday it has relocated its headquarters from Denver, Colorado, to Miami, Florida. The company offered no explanation for the decision, issuing only a brief statement: “We have moved our headquarters to Miami, Florida.”

Founded in 2003 by Peter Thiel, Alex Karp, and others, Palantir is a data analytics and software firm known for its work with government agencies, including the CIA, the Department of Defense, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Its platforms, such as Palantir Gotham and Foundry, are widely used for intelligence analysis, law enforcement, and military operations.

Palantir’s co-founder, Peter Thiel, is also a prominent supporter of President Donald Trump and a long-time associate of Vice President JD Vance — who worked for a venture capital firm co-founded by Thiel out of college and later launched his own venture fund, with Thiel as an early financial backer.

With an elevation close to sea level. When the Greenland Ice Cap collapses their headquarters, like Donnie’s presidential library, will be under water. Only seems fitting future generations will only be able to visit these sites via 🤿 gear.

All 500 Palantir employees formerly headquartered in Colorado will save money when they set up shop in Miami (Aventura). A number of tech companies are relocating to South Florida.

are pretty much the same from state to state. No state tax? Then you are paying that state tax in a different way, usually sales taxes, residential taxes, etc.

'Billionaires flee California 'within seven days' over proposed wealth tax: Inside the Miami migration'

(FOX Business) "As California’s proposed 'billionaire tax' began gaining momentum late last year, some of the wealthiest people in the country didn’t wait for ballots, lawmakers or court challenges — they moved. 'Then a couple more flew into Miami, bought properties and closed within seven days,' luxury real estate broker Julian Johnston of The Corcoran Group told Fox News Digital. 'So then it was a tipping point.' "

"According to Johnston — who told Fox News Digital that he’s currently working with three billionaires to move them from California to South Florida — the urgency was driven by staggering potential losses...'One client said, ‘You know, this could be like a $5 billion tax for me,' he recalled. 'So they’re moving because of that.' "

moving government functions, such as 'intelligence gathering' (spying), investigations of phenomena such as UAPs and UFOs, cryptozoology and the like to the 'private sector' is to keep the information gathered secret. If the government does it FOIA applies. If a private contractor does it proprietary information is protected from scrutiny. These companies also become funnels for distributing our treasury to the robber barons. The ones from the 1880's would be so jealous of todays morbidly rich billionaire class of thieves.
