Tomorrow 02Aug2025

https://www.mobilize.us/nccongressionaldistrict13democrats/event/819426/

I'll be in Raleigh NC.

I have this sense of dread that people won't keep turning out. That they're surrendering to the politics of inevitability and using their energy to get through an authoritarian autocracy rather than to save our democracy.

I'll be 70 this month, so it is easier for me to say I cannot and will not stop trying to save democracy. I will not stop until I either see it restored in my country, or die. Hope it's the former.

whether or not i get discouraged, I must keep coming and keep coming and fighting for democracy and justice and freedom. at my age it's no longer about me, it's about the generations coming up.

i.e. a general strike. It’s the thing that’s easier for seniors to do than street protests and rallies.

I think many people do. a lot more than have signed up to this page because of the fear of being in a public database.
In my opinion, a general strike must be accompanied by bodies in the street. absolute must imo
