(3,394 posts)Population roughly 8,000. We had over 200 attendees on a rainy evening. Lots of support from cars and trucks honking and waving. Lots of call and response to impeach and remove, great feeling of community and purpose - to impeach. Although biased, I give i an A Plus! Some great people there.

(13,892 posts)We agreed to any earlier event, timed with ferry traffic. That also leaves us open to attend the later event in Seattle.
So many happy honks, waves and thumbs up. A few thumbs down, three vocal Trumpanzees and a number of sheriff deputies checking in to insure we were safe. Truly awesome event.
My post-millennial daughter had a blast, too. I spoke with a few people from the community that I know, all curious and supportive.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
