Also, the committee that runs the KC should not be appointed by the President as a partisan political activity...

... eunuchs currently defiling both legislative bodies, however thin their majorities, will not lift a finger to thwart his malicious caprices; they're all too much like him in too many ways. And they're expecting – in vain, I hope – to rule over the ashes of whatever's left when he has an aneurysm from the exertion of destroying everything that loyal Americans hold dear. Even the inbred, brain-dead Red Hats are tiring of his lies and broken promises. But they'll get no sympathy from me; he told them, "I don't care about you; I just want your votes!" And the idiots cheered him!
Jesus wept.

Trump was visiting the 7th in Yokosuka I believe. Draped the stern of DDG-56. Command denied doing it - but it happened.

The tarp is covering up part of John F Kennedy's name so it has to come down. Open and shut case.

The last one was that the tarp was covering work to repair damage done by removing Trump's name.

These people are -- in addition to being Trump ass-kissers -- are mean, evil, and petty.

Many years ago – early 1950’s – my two cousins, their parents, and their beloved cocker spaniel named Susie moved into a new housing development in XXXXX Mississippi. A couple of streets over lived a guy who rode a motorcycle to work every day, passing in front of my cousins’ home. Susie the cocker spaniel sat in the front yard, along the road, and barked at the guy as he passed – did not chase, just sat there and barked.

After a couple of weeks of this, the guy had a shotgun with him and shot Susie. She survived.

In response, all us kids lined the road when we heard the motorcycle coming and, as he passed, we shouted “There goes that mean old man who shot Susie!!” We did this for a few days then he changed his route. We figured out his new route and lined that route, too. Finally, our parents intervened and dragged us away. Cops had arrested the guy and he had to pay Susie’s vet bills.

What’s the purpose of this story? Maybe we need a crowd to follow the Kennedy Center Board members around town, pointing and shouting . . . . . does anyone know where they live???

the repair work will take some time. Even if the holes were only an inch in diameter (likely bigger though), mixing the right shades of marble dust to match the striations in the original, it takes time for the stuff to cure, there are at least 3 holes per letter, then sealant, then buffing, then maybe other adjustments as needed. A good mason that is very experienced with this stuff could probably make it so you can't see the damage that was done..... but what are the chances that someone like that will be hired? There's also no good reason the work can't be done in the open. Workers on scaffolding is common. They didn't have an issue with that when they were putting those letters up. It always takes far longer to fix something than damage it.
