The turd in the punchbowl

Fascism in the United States is like a turd floating in a bowl of otherwise delicious punch. It doesn't matter how wonderful most of our country is. As long as we as a nation allow ANY hints of anti-democratic ideas to become acceptable it doesn't matter. We must legislate this hell out of existence. First amendment is still important and must be upheld - folks should be free to express hateful viewpoints as long as it is not allowed to trump the rest of our constitution through those elected leaders (governors, congress, supreme court, media, etc.) not acting in good faith. Calling out these words/actions should be firmly entrenched in our laws so no amount of money can create fake media, fake legislators, etc. who can promote this shit without getting shut down.
