(115,129 posts)Bernie Sander's support, aside. I'm not opposed to Kiros, but I do NOT like her bombastic political ad playing on tv. Maybe it is just how it hits me, but I get a negatively visceral reaction to it.
But, Kiros is leading in the polls, so...

(87,685 posts)whether someone handpicks candidates and conceals their flaws from Bernie.

(20,740 posts)I think he's riding high on the adoring crowds of young people. That's been his schtick for a long time.

My daughter happened to be visiting some Israeli friends there that day. Only because she couldnt find a baby sitter for her two little girls did she not go to the event.
Like an old friend of mine used to say, nuff said.

(2,053 posts)that DeGette takes in mega - contributions from unpopular pacs like AIPAC. I live in Joe Neguses district but Ive given money to Kiros because I think District 1 needs new, aggressive, progressive representation. People say that Kiros, as a newbie, wont have the political power that DeGette has, but Joe Neguse has risen quickly in the Democratic Party in Congress, and I think Kiros can too.

(29,338 posts)the real winner is Gabe Evans, the big stupid trumper in the 8th,
Kiros does not and that's good, but I need to see more from my rep..
all that said, I do not like AIPAC or their dirty money..

(18,244 posts)anti-Semitic article. So running for congress as an anti-Semite is her next logical step ? That sounds more regressive than progressive.

There has never been a people whose land was violently taken from them who did not resist with violence in kind.

(20,740 posts)They say a few progressive things and run against older Democratic centrists and do well.
In the end, they will do as much damage to the Democratic Party as embracing the crazies on the right is starting to do to the Republican party.
