Two months after its unexpected artificial intelligence rebrand, Allbirds
is changing its name to Smartbird and appointing a new chief executive.

The shoemaker-turned-AI infrastructure firm on Wednesday named Nadia Carlsten as CEO and board member, replacing current CEO Joe Vernachio.
