I believe it was Politics USA, that had El Sayed ahead of the GOP candidate.

They're Palestine, a country recognised by multiple states.

Extremists and supporters of Netanyahu insist they are part of Israel, but last time I checked such extremism isn't welcome at DU.

Have a lovely day

Apart from being totally ignorant of me and what I think.

I am curious about what made you so angry about me pointing out that the West Bank and Gaza aren't Israel. I can hazard a guess that you may be a supporter of Greater Israel, which I hope isn't true, but am guessing that you won't tell me and will only fling more insults and untrue accusations instead.

Chill out...

You're throwing a lot of ad hominem crap around just because I reminded you that the West Bank and Gaza aren't Israel.

Yet another correction for you. Like the US, I'm critical of Israel's actions, and don't believe in walking on eggshells to keep those who rather creepily worship a country happy. Why do you keep on coming out with crap that clearly isn't true?

What is true is that Netanyahu and his govt are every bit as fascist and dictatorial as the Trump administration. What's true is that while there's no apartheid in Israel, there is a system of apartheid in the West Bank. Also, Israel, just like any other country, isn't the sum total of its current govt. There's absolutely no nuance coming from you, and I suspect this is falling on deaf ears, but I've got some spare time this evening.

Oh, and pretty blatant finishing off with a 'whatabouterry' moment. I suspect you have as little knowledge of the different Arab countries in the ME as you have about Israel itself.

Also, what's with throwing around 'progressive' like it's a dirty word? I thought this was a left-wing forum, which is why this socialist started posting here all those many years ago.

When yr willing to discuss the issue without the anger and binary 'me good/you evil!' one-dimensional view of what's a complex situation, I'll be here, but I won't be holding my breath.

Of course, I asked the same question about Barack Hussein Obama. And I was proven wrong.

But, it seems like an extra challenge for Democrats, in my opinion. Perhaps Michigan is much more enlightened than anyone realizes?

I hope Michigan is ahead of much of the rest of America.

The racists areas of the state will never vote for any Democrat, and frankly outside of metro Detroit, and a couple other towns, it’s red. He’s well known in Metro Detroit and I really think he would turn out young people. If Michigan easily elected Obama twice, I don’t see why he can’t.
