No matter the pressure or focus placed on Congressional Republicans – House Republicans would never impeach, Senate Republicans would never vote to convict; removing a president via the impeachment process would weaken the presidency, jeopardizing a future Republican president’s ability to be an autocratic despot pursuant to the establishment of the tyranny of Republican minority rule.
