Even the Washington Times is tired of him

Is removal of Trump’s name from Kennedy Center a metaphor?
President's overexposure, bad advice and personal branding threaten second-term agenda

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2026/jun/15/removal-trumps-name-kennedy-center-metaphor/

In what could be a metaphor for things to come, workers removed President Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center in Washington.
U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that the rebranding of the Kennedy Center as the “Trump Kennedy Center” violated the law, writing, “Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, and only Congress can change it.”
Is America growing tired of Mr. Trump’s nonstop appearances? His disapproval ratings suggest overexposure could be a contributing factor.

Unaffordable food and gas prices. But, what do I know. They loved seeing his ass everywhere until they couldn’t afford to live day to day. They got a kick out of his new word, “groceries” a while back with that pitiful display of canned goods. Oh, yeah, and that other new word he had during the campaign, “affordability”.

10. Republicans on Capitol Hill have to be furious that Trump is doing so much damage to their midterm prospects.

But they're in a box - if they defy him, they lose their political careers; if they stand with him, they suffer losses in the midterms - basically, to borrow a quote from Thomas Jefferson, they have the wolf by the ear, and they can neither hold him, nor safely let him go.
