And saw the big photo of Douglas MacArthur surrounded by the US Pacific Brass and the few Representatives of the Japanese Imperial government agreeing to the terms set by the US.
I did a 2nd tour of the USS Missouri in January when I was there by myself. I absorbed more the 2nd time around. There were quite a number of Japanese tourists, as well as those from India, China, Australia, etc. The same with the Aviation Museum as well.
The B-29 that dropped the "Fat Man" bomb over Nagasaki, the Bockscar, is displayed at the Air Force Museum at the Wright-Patterson base outside of Dayton, Ohio.
