Maternal deaths committee in Texas at risk of being cancelled.

Texas is considering whether to continue one of its most important tools for preventing maternal deaths.

They shut down data-gathering and professional discussion of the problem. There is no "maternal mortality," so a committee isn't needed to understand it.
