An observation about Mamdani and Hunter Biden in turning the discourse around in our favor.

Both of these men are having enormous success cutting through the dense minds of the MAGAs and media. For too long we were unable to get around the short retorts the Right gave us about, bothsiderism and the ick word, socialism. But in retrospect, these two men show just how easy it is going to be.

Biden: Admits his flaws in a self deprecating way and then goes in for the kill showing that whatever he's done, it falls far short of what the people who are criticizing him are doing. So, he is in essence, killed the beast of bothsiderism.

Mamdani: All the gloom and doom of voting in a socialist who would enforce socialist policies were ended this way: Don't like taxing the rich? Well, how about having a city that avoids bankruptcy and is in a better place to provide necessary services for the public and maybe somewhere down the line, lowers taxes for the middle class? How about having a leader who isn't loyal to corporate greed, and can instead use the strong arm of government to make sure landlords maintain their housing units?

In Mamdani's case, it was all show, don't tell. That's how you break the labels that have been plaguing us for too long.
