There Is So Much Misinformation & Disinformation Scrolling Across My Home Page

My few sources for news haven't been impacted but my gosh it's only going to get worse, bye bye CNN.

MSN is far right.

One has to really search to find out what is going on in Iran, and Ukraine is only a bit better.

The misinformation that controls the price of crude is almost laughable.

so if you "hate-read" or indulge in right-wing stories, even to expose them as false, it will give you more of the same. Some tips for a better MSN experience:

Method 1: On the MSN or Microsoft Start Homepage
-Go to MSN.com or MicrosoftStart.com.
-Click Personalize (represented by a gear icon or a slider/list icon) in the top right corner of the news feed section.
-Select My Interests from the menu.Check or uncheck topics (e.g., Sports, Entertainment, Finance) to add or remove them.
-Click Save to apply the changes.

Method 2: Tailoring Individual Stories as You Browse
-To see more of a topic: Hover over a story card, click the three dots (...), and select More stories like this.
-To hide a publisher: Click the three dots (...) on a story card and select Hide stories from [Publisher Name].
-To report bad content: Click the three dots (...) and choose Report an issue if the headline is misleading or inappropriate.

Why use MSN at all? It's not required. I don't get it.

I don't think I've ever even seen the MSN site. You can do the same.

I use Chrome in Windows 10. When I open a new tab, what I see is the Google Search page. I use Google to search for what I'm looking for. Why? Because I use complex Boolean searches in Google, and have done so for years.

I could use Duck Duck Go or Yahoo, if I wanted to, but I prefer Google. If you don't like MSM, use something else.

I avoid news via any MSM outlet or social media platform, and just go directly to the independent sources I trust, such as Consortium News and the journalists who got pushed out of the MSM for rightly questioning our 2003 invasion of Iraq.
