Also a story about Vance getting a peace deal with Iran and Trump shooting it down with new last-minute demands.

Vance sees the writing on the wall and is positioning himself to be the alternative Trump.

Too late, JD. You've got shit all over your shoes and everyone can smell it.

Vance doesn't seemingly have the popularity to make a serious run at the presidency. But if Trump were to step aside being the sitting president would have to help him, especially if he could do something big. Time will tell.
