Canada paid for the Gordie Howe bridge and Michigan wants half the toll $

President Screwworm has delayed the bridge opening trying to wrangle "a better deal". In the original agreement, Canada paid the full $6.4 billion cost of the bridge and was to receive all the toll income until that amount was paid off. Now, a senator from Michigan wants to split the toll revenue 50 - 50. And, Trump is using the dispute as leverage in trade negotiations

Michigan's Speaker of the House Matt Hall (R) was demanding renegotiation.

The Dems took at shot at confirming the original deal in Feb:
