OH-SEN, OH-GOV: Ohio Poll Could Portend Trouble for Republicans

Charlie Cook: “A Fox News poll could well be the canary in the midterm coal mine, suggesting far greater danger for Republicans in November than was previously evident…”

“When reading the numbers that follow, you should know that unreleased, private, high-quality polls conducted for both sides show similar results; this poll is not an outlier. And while Fox News has its fans and detractors, its polling is first-rate.”

Sherrod Brown up by 8%
Dr. Acton tied.

The crosstabs and other data suggest a challenging environment for the GOP, with candidate opinions ossified and Democratic winning issues taking priority over GOP ones.

Basically, it says Sherrod Brown is looking increasingly strong and he was already competitive.

Dr. Acton is consistently close and may be breaking out.

but then I remembered this is Ohio we're talking about. And Brown's numbers look amazing, knock on wood.
