NY-07: Democratic candidates to debate in New York House race to succeed Velzquez

NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — A congressional seat that unifies Brooklyn and Queens is up for grabs.

State Assemblymember Claire Valdez, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and City Council Member Julie Won are among the top Democratic candidates competing for New York’s 7th District following the retirement of longtime Rep. Nydia Velázquez (D).....

All three candidates will face off on the debate stage on PIX11........

Valdez is leading with 23 percent of the vote, while Reynoso has 21 percent of the vote. But the number to watch is the 43 percent of voters who remain undecided. For more on the poll, click here.
