OP
After a certain win tonight, I better never EVER hear about anyone on the left sitting out the general ever again.

That would be our biggest risk. As long as we turnout to vote it should be no problem.

Steyer already endorsed Becerra, so I suspect his supporters WILL support the Democratic nominee!

(5,646 posts)8. Really? Schwarzenegger, Reagan, Pete Wilson, Deukmejian, etc.
Schwarzenegger and Reagan did tremendous damage to our state, and Reagan did tremendous damage to our country, and. With our low recall criteria, and jungle primaries, it makes us vulnerable if we dont have a turnout to vote.

Barring some totally crazy scandal, Becerra will win handily by around 15-25 points.

(3,418 posts)10. Why in the world would we not vote for Becerra?
Your post seems like an insult against Steyer supporters, even if you didn't mean it.
Becerra is the Democrat, not as progressive or visionary as Tom Steyer but the only acceptable alternative.
I dare say nobody on this board is going to sit this one out.
