CNN reported today that trump has said the war will be over in days 37 times since it started. Thirty seven times.

Let that sink in. How little respect he must have for the American people and the press to repeat that 37 times and expect anyone to take him seriously.

We are being gaslit every day and being told that the war is almost over again and again and again. The goal with this particular lie is to muddy the waters about the war so that people stop following it and just say it's too confusing. Who knows what the truth is?

Similar to his lies about election fraud, it keeps people discouraged, disengaged, and confused. It depresses voter turnout. Both lies need to be confronted directly by Dems before the midterms.

Along the way we also earned the scorn and distrust of every other nation on the planet. All the embarrassment and the transparent gaslighting, all the open corruption, all the erosion of our commons, we earned it over centuries of failure to address our underlying weaknesses. Now we get the ROI of our long term carelessness and ignorance. "Winning", as it were.

That’s just who you are, and what you’ve always been. Desperate to be believed, regardless WHAT you say, and/or how many lies you tell.

And every single time it will be a lie because the felon is incapable of making the necessarily humiliating deal that will paint a giant L for Loser on his forehead.

There is no "spinning" the fact that his way out is to recommit to Obama's deal (and admit the deal he shredded was the best possible), and shovel 10X the amount of money Obama agreed to as part of that deal.

The felon will NEVER let "Obama win" that way.

So, it's time for Republicans to face facts. There is no way out as long as he is in the White House.

Who knows? After a mid-term rout and escalating global and domestic harms of the war the psychopathic narcissist is incapable of ending, perhaps enough trumpublican Senators will wake up to the reality that he MUST go.

February 2027, cue little groups from the hill to the WH to offer him an out: resign for health reasons to save face or you will be removed. There are enough of us now.

We are living in times of unprecedented events. F-ing anything could happen.

That's why Dems need to start saying "Everything he says is a lie". Because it is, and trying to chase around disproving each one is a fool's errand.

'Oceania was at war with Eastasia. Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.'
I may not be remembering this exactly, but it's close enough to what's going on now with Shitler to be kind of scary.
