We held watch parties in our homes all over the country. It was too depressing to watch alone. I held a watch party with about 20 people in my home in 2004. It was the first of many watch parties. We met a lot of new friends.

(1,242 posts)We were living in Mammoth Lakes, CA at the time. Twenty people filled my home.
Hubby and I registered a few new young voters. Red Mono county actually went for Kerry by a very slim margin.
We were living in southern CA when we held a Walmart watch party.
On another note spent a lot of time in Seattle. My son's doctors were at Harbor Veiw and Fred Hutchinson.
