NYC is going to be a complete mess tonight

Krasnov will be traveling from Bedminster, NJ to Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Hopefully it will be by helicopter so he doesn't foul up the Hudson River crossings either at the Lincoln Tunnel or GW Bridge. The Knicks are obviously at home, the Yankees are at home and there will be watch parties all over New York City. I fear there will be violence because New Yorkers will not quietly tolerate interference with their Knicks and the opportunity to celebrate the end of 53 years of frustration. There will be many thousands in the streets in every borough of New York City. That being said, GO KNICKS!

The only media stories on Trump in the NY media have always been when he did one of his stupid, cheezy acts like bankrupting casinos, sailing his yacht up and down the Hudson River, how he let Ivana design his hotels and casinos like they were bordellos, etc.

MAGA is biggest out on the edges of diversifying areas. I had the unpleasant experience of summering in the very SW corner of Ulster county at the foot of the Catskills and MAGA banners were big in 2016. And I grew up down in Jersey near Bucks county, another area with pockets of strong MAGA support. Being a straight white male who dresses conservatively and before 2015 never too pushy about politics I knew he was the front runner from June of 2015 and it was so very hard to get anyone to agree he was in the lead. It felt like watching a train wreck. That said I will suffer from all the chaos tonite as I live three short blocks from Madison Square Garden. I'm deciding to move my car to another area and take transit back tonite to avoid trying to drive back over here.

He’s probably just attending (or threatening to attend) to fuck with:
1) a blue city
2) headed by a Socialist mayor
3) who has instituted a tax on luxury 2nd homes, like the apartment Trump keeps in Trump tower.

I’m doubtful he’ll even show up, honestly. It’s just more rat-fuckery.

And he’ll blow 30 minutes after he gets there. Just another reason to hate him.
