It's Hilarious That Trump Plans to Attend Knicks Game

The overall impact of that will be to piss off almost every Knicks fan who has paid huge money for a seat at Game 3. Suddenly, they have to show up way earlier than usual, can't carry any bag into the venue, and will be subject to security screening that goes way beyond even airport screening.

So, suppose you spent several thousand dollars for a single ticket to that game, and you hear what you'll have to go through to watch Trump waddle to his seat and fall asleep. How's that going to sit with you. How early will you arrive? Do you need to bring your passport? Do you have to wear a MAGA cap?

Pissed off. That's what they're going to be. And rightly so. Even worse, if the Secret Service determines that they can't protect Trump effectively, he won't be showing up at all. And, if he does show up, he won't be there for the whole game, anyhow. He'll be nodding off most of the time he is there, actually.

So, enjoy your game, folks. It'll be fun, I promise. Plus, you might get a glimpse of the worst President the USA has ever had.

Basically, there's massive amounts of fan energy outside Madison Square Garden - in the streets and all around. The insane Knicks fandom is really the biggest story of these playoffs, but it involves the massive crowds of fans outside the Garden. Apparently, that's not going to be possible for Game 3 because shitheel Trump has various security protocols that prevent it.

The White House is really figuring out a way to make Trump even more hated in NYC.

Those watch parties are legendary. But, no, Donald J. Fucking Trump may show up for the game, so you can't have those. May show up. He has not committed to being there, as far as I can determine.

The Secret Service is not going to like him going to it, either. I guarantee that. They're right, too. He should not go. Too much exposure. On the other hand, of course...

Such a slap in the face to Knicks fans that they built this wonderful community of fandom with MSG-based watch parties and they're now being moved ten blocks + away because of asshole Trump?

He's such a garbage person. He forgot the top-level New York ethic: Mind ya business!

They will be virtually shut down due to Krasnov's presence with only ticket holders for the game being permitted inside the area.

They are going to restrict who can even be in the area around the Garden and don't forget that the Garden is IN Penn Station so it will also affect hundreds of thousands of commuters.

NYC cops are very good at controlling crowds but they can't stop crowds from forming. What if you are just some poor schmoe coming home from work and getting off a train at Penn Station (right under the Garden). Do you have to have a game ticket to go up the escalators to the street where MSG is located?

in the 50's. But I remember proudly wearing an A&W Root Beer uniform. One could say as long as the players aren't compensated for playing it's amateur, but we got free root beer after every game.
