I say shame on Kristen Welker (SARCASM)

She should’ve known an 80-year-old toddler could only have handled so much before it was time for the binky and diaper change.

The focus would have been on her choice and when asked to explain she should have said: “ Trump is unfit for office . He should resign or be removed. He is a danger to America and the world.”

Instead she gave the power to him. The MSM keeps doing this.

She muffed the perfect opening to change this narrative.

Embarrassing the president, regardless of how much of an embarrassment he already is, wouldn't serve the corporate overlords.

What's the narrative this weekend?

Trump has a meltdown.

If Welker ends the interview, the narrative how the Fake News Media couldn't handle Trump. He'd be be strutting around like rooster.

Otherwise... we are left with the "He is a toddler" nonsense and laughing at him

Stop laughing and GET RID OF HIM.
BURN HIM DOWN like you burned Joe down.

blatant lies repeatedly and his innate disgusting bullying toward women, yet she keeps at it in as professional manner as possible while not allowing him to spew BS without argument... and a female at that which engendered even more aggressive, ugly, and gender-targeted derision...

and YOU attack the interviewer, Kristen Welker? Are there ways she might have been more effective? Sure. But, who else have you seen take the abuse, while continuing to counter his lying assertions and blatant misrepresentations?

Perhaps you were a fan of her predecessor, Chuckie Todd, who probably found a spine once or twice in his years as MTP host--and then always against undeserving Democrats in his attempt to kiss up to R's to get them on the show?

I disagree with you strongly on this. Welker has not been my favorite, but this isn't the first time she's found her journalistic voice and responsibility.

We can joke about Dementia Don, but today, I am not laughing. I could go to any nursing home and get a more coherent conversation with nearly any dementia patient sitting in a wheelchair in the hallway. Welker could have used "meteorological interference" as an excuse. The rain was serious enough at several points during the interview for that to be a concern. It was hard to hear over the storm and possibly hazardous for anyone in the area who tried to venture out.

Joe was crucified for much less.

For once, I am not criticizing or despising trump. Let us just say that I am angry at our media and at trump's advisors. This is a serious health concern for him and a danger for our country. We really do need the 25th amendment here.

For example, I am 77 and my husband is 81. We are politically active and often out and about for events. I had a role in three current and a couple of upcoming events for our area Democrats. It is especially busy for us right now because of the upcoming midterm elections. We pick and choose our activities simply because we could be endangering our health if we are careless. We would be showing a lack of responsibility to our local committees as well by being unreliable.

We have to take care of ourselves and each other.

I have a meeting with a group today. We are all activists, much like Indivisible. We work with them, with the county Democratic organizations and others who need our support. Since so many of us are older, I am going to get this on the agenda. I am more worried than usual.

Shame on the MSM for allowing Trump to refer to female journalists, particularly black female journalists, as obnoxious/stupid/ugly/dumb/low IQ/horse-face/nasty/fat pigs/slobs/fat slobs/piggy…shame on the MSM for shrinking when Trump berates the Fourth Estate as “fake news”..shame on the MSM for rarely if ever calling Trump’s fountain of vomitus lies “lies”, instead they say he misspoke/exaggerated/misstated/embellished/distorted/deceived …shame on the MSM for selling his toxic verbal sludge as rational thought/political dialogue… and most of all shame on the MSM for not walking out en masse and/or refusing to attend one of Trump’s bloviating shit shows when he belittles one of their own…
