The data center in question would be feet way from the park. According to the permit application by Jeremy Dreiling, the data center would be a single-story building that would span 69,220 square feet.

A spokesperson for the zoo said it is vehemently opposed to the proposed data center being built next to the zoo.

"By now youve probably heard about the proposed data center that they want to build next to the Nashville Zoo which is an absolute nightmare scenario, Paisley said in an Instagram reel. First of all, they dont have the power to build this, they dont have the water. It doesnt belong there. It would be an enormous monstrosity, an absolute eye sore and detract in every way for not only that zoo, but also that area.
Paisley said its not too late to stop the facility from being built either. He encouraged his fans to sign the petition which has received nearly 300,000 signatures as of this storys publication."....(more)
