Am I the only person who found one of Welker's comments

somewhat less than professional? Now, I have not, will not, watch any of it, since I cannot bear even two seconds of looking at, or listening to, that orange sphincter. I just read part of the transcript. The part where she protests, "But I came all the way here just for this interview (slight paraphrase) " . Sounded a bit like pleading with him. Pity she didn't say, "I came all this way for this interview, and since you are not behaving seriously, I am leaving." And then actually LEAVE.

After you leave we are going to get a court order to have Ivana exhumed and find out why that coffin was so heavy and oh by the way, since I have some time to fill here, I’m going to read to the viewers the transcript of the deposition of that thirteen year old who accused you of assaulting her. agree that her intonation sounded a bit pleading for my taste -- but making a request to continue an interview is generally called for -- and is often successful.

"But I came all the way here from Winsonsin". Repeated helplessly, it came across as weak and whining. It puffed Trump up even more.

Though she pushed back during the interview, that was weak too. She just kept repeating "you have no evidence" and was drowned out by him.

What happened to all the great journalists the U.S. once had, is this the best they've got?

WOW -- Trump crashes out and cuts his interview with Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged

"You're either crooked or you're stupid. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her."

An observation: It is a reporter's JOB to ask questions, to push back, to challenge lies. It should not need to be seen as some special act of courage. IT IS THEIR JOB. Sadly, most of what passes for reporters these days are NOT doing their jobs.

And the media has been failing for a long time now. But we live in proto-fascist times. Sometimes it takes courage to do the job. When a bubble of courage pops up from time to time, it should be praised, encouraging more journalists (hopefully, eventually) to do their job.

Anyway, that’s my cut on it.

and sadly she hasn't a clue she's being trolled so hard. In fact I doubt most people realize what's going on here with this.

Trump is trolling her and anyone who's against him.
How?
He looks very upset and very flustered, going off the rails with immature toxicity and personal insults. This is old 2015 Trump and he's doing it to completely feed his base with the finest meats available. He knows what fires up his fans and that's on full display in this interview. He literally told Welker the 2020 election was rigged and now so is the election in California. Tomorrow we'll wake up and what do you think will trending very high on every social media site out there? How Trump says the California elections are rigged.

Him going off on Welker is the "Macho Manifesto". He's never going to put up with any woman who dares ask him questions especially ones he sees as difficult to answer due to their deep rooted bullshit. So he goes off to not only change the narrative but to be the talk of the town and his fans? Oh they'll love this. They see it as King Cheeto fighting the system and the establishment, especially "that commie network NBC!" (yes, he has said that before.)

Everything is about Trump. EVERYTHING. He'll make anything and everything about him personally. This is who he is and it's who he's always been. He's trolling just to get attention and make his fans content and rabid as ever.

I can't listen to that thing, but I did see clips.

I don't believe this is 2015 Piggy, or that he's trolling her, or that he's even capable of trolling anyone. He is ill, he can't get up and can barely walk. His infantile narcissism is what controls him, he can never be wrong about anything, and can never admit his lies.

This interview is already everywhere. Nobody but MAGAts will believe his crap. I personally cannot care less what his cult thinks, or what feeds them. He isn't thinking of them during this interview. He's caught in lies and he knows it, that's why his face looks like a broiled lobster and why he almost falls trying to stand up. He's cornered and needs to run away.

I think you may be giving an old, sick, worn out narcissist too much credit.
