This is my shocked face

It seems that Tillis and Cornyn did NOT step up and vote for the Dems' amendment to legally put an end to the 1,7 million dollar slush fund when they had a chance last week. Their big talk, assurances, and threats were fake and meaningless.

But you know what they did accomplish with all their bluster? Days of credible media coverage in which they were able to burnish their "independent" credentials. Sometimes politics seems like a game that is rigged against us. And sometimes it really is.
