The stock market of 1929 is not the stock market of 2026.

There is so much money in the hands of American billionaires and oligarchs that they have no place to put it but in the "market". It is one big shell game for them. People with shares of stock and 401-Ks can capitalize on the shell game, and as long as they make pennies on the dollar, the manipulators of the market will continue to play their game with trillions of dollars. It might seem unpredictable to you but to them, it is very predictable. They control what goes up and what comes down.

The "market" does not necessarily dictate a great economy. The market can do well when the rest of the economy is in doldrums.

It is one big party and we have not been invited.

$7 trillion held in 401k plans. $300 Billion annually contributed. These are the workers of America but it’s now a constant direct infusion into the markets.
