Bessent's Treasury quietly extended a license allowing Russian oil transactions for another month.

JUST IN: Two days after saying the U.S. would NOT renew sanctions waivers on Russian or Iranian oil, Bessent’s Treasury quietly extended a license allowing Russian oil transactions for another month.

Other times I wonder if Putin hasn't promised Trump something. It would have to be money. That's all that Trump cares about.

I hope that we find out, so that we can someday make sense of this very chaotic and weird period that we are going through.

accused of in a Moscow hotel as a reason for why Trump was so compliant to Putin, was a false rumour Putin send out to Europe to explain away Trump behaviour. That is much less damaging than Trump being the Manchurian Candidate he has been for Putin... sent out to destroy democracy around the world.

I mean the threat of release is repeatable. But the actual release can only happen once. And then not only do you have nothing but the rest of the world knows you were using them for blackmail. Which has its own implications. It's almost mutually assured destruction. I say almost because there is a chance, maybe a good chance, that very little comes of it. And then you've figuratively freed your captive without getting any ransom.

I think there is a bigger carrot being dangled in front of Trump. He's gotten to know Putin. Putin has gotten to know him. Trump most likely helped launder a bunch of money. And in exchange the Russians provided him with financing when no other bank in the world would even let him in their lobby.

Some day it'll all come out.
