Caitlyn Jenner spent years championing Donald Trump and his movement, but now she can't leave the country. And the man she backed hasn't responded.

Jenner revealed this week that her passport was returned with a male gender marker after she sent it in for renewal, a direct result of Trump's executive order requiring all federal documents to reflect the biological sex assigned at birth, Entertainment Weekly reported. The change has left the longtime Trump supporter unable to travel internationally, even as her Global Entry, driver's license and pilot's license still reflect her correct gender marker.

The 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist told conservative commentator Tomi Lahren she did everything right — submitted proper forms, included a hard copy of her birth certificate — and still got the wrong marker back. She said she has Trump's personal cell number but chose not to use it, instead writing him a letter explaining her situation.

"I haven't heard from him. He's kind of busy right now. My gender marker isn't big on the issue," Jenner said. "I love the guy, and I love what he's doing. But, I'm trying to figure out now what is the next step to try to figure this out."

“I think he’s very conservative, and a great constitutionalist, and a very articulate man,” the Olympic champion and reality television star told The Advocate in an interview published Wednesday evening. “I haven’t endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.”

Those concerns aside, Jenner, a Republican, said she found Cruz to be “very nice” when they met before her transition and hoped he would be open to her counsel if he’s elected in November.

“Wouldn’t it be great,” she said. “I have all my girls on a trans issues board to advise him on making decisions when it comes to trans issues.”

Asked by The Advocate if that meant being Cruz’s “trans ambassador,” Jenner said, “Yes, trans ambassador to the president of the United States, so we can say, ‘Ted, love what you’re doing but here’s what’s going on.’”

Caitlyn Jenner’s plea to Donald Trump about the unwanted change to her passport has critics rolling their eyes.

Jenner, a transgender woman, has actively supported Trump’s 2024 bid for re-election, despite MAGA politicians’ hardline stance against affirming LGBTQ people’s identities. Trump signed an executive order declaring there were only “two genders” during his first week in office.

“What do I do? This is a safety factor,” she told the conservative commentator. “I can’t travel internationally anymore. I can’t use my passport.”

The View co-host and Trump critic Ana Navarro reacted on Instagram Friday, “Boo-hoo. Cry me a f---ing river.” Navarro’s followers chimed in with similar sentiments, “I didn’t think the leopards would eat MY face,” said one. Another added, “She literally voted for this!!!”
