This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Rahm Emanuel, former White House Chief of Staff, Chicago mayor, and U.S. Ambassador to Japan under President Biden; and Jake Sullivan, co-host of The Long Game podcast, professor at Harvards John F. Kennedy School of Government, and former U.S. National Security Advisor under President Biden.

(2,977 posts)I've enjoyed Kara Swisher in the past. In her 2024 book, "Burn Book", she detailed Eloon's transformation from a focused, if difficult, entrepreneur to a distracted, "paranoid" figure. She describes his role in the White House as a "disaster" of his own making.
She characterizes him as an "adult toddler" who is often "pretending to be a beta" in political scenarios to gain influence.
I've always liked Rahm Emauel, and Jake Sullivan faced some tough times as Biden's national security advisor but I think for the most part he came through, so they should be good together. Sounds like an interesting show!
And of course, his opening and New Rules are always fun.
