The one for one Congress resignations hurt Dems more

As the number of Congress members is reduced at an even rate, one Dem for one Rep., it makes a discharge petition more difficult. And since the Reps control the House floor and the discharge number remains at 218, we need far more Repukes to sign on.

gnzalez would never have quit without swalwell doing the same.

i hate losing swalwell, but that loss occurred when swalwell decided to drug women.

why do repubs get a pass on the sexual stuff?

give repubs a pass on everything they do - by spinning it differently, by letting it drop off of the news cycle, and even by not reporting it at all ... and their supporters don't care as long as abortion is illegal, POC are tortured, and they "stick it to the libs." Also, a LOT of people don't actually pay attention to the news (my former housekeeper voted for Trump and told me she doesn't really follow or pay attention to the news) and certainly do not view it critically!

they don't want the world - or their wives - to know about.

Time for some quiet investigations to search them out and either remove them or force them to vote with Democrats.

While I think Gonzales needed to go too, I'd still be in favor of pushing Swalwell out even if Gonzales stayed. Believe victims, even when it's inconvenient.

It was not designed to pass judgement.

Of course, they both, and others, should be out of Congress for such transgressions. But the MSM seems to think that this one for one doesn't affect the balance in the House. As I stated in the OP, it does affect the minority more than the majority.
