"The only Democratic no came from Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman" (bid to limit Trump's Iran war powers)

WASHINGTON >> A majority of the U.S. Senate backed President Donald Trump’s military campaign against Iran today, voting to block a Democratic-led resolution aiming to stop the war until hostilities are authorized by Congress.

The Senate voted 52-47 not to advance the war powers resolution, underscoring his party’s continuing support for the Republican president’s war policy more than six weeks after the U.S. and Israel launched air strikes on Iran on February 28.

It was the fourth time that Democrats have forced votes on similar measures since the war began. All of them have failed in the face of opposition from every Republican except Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky.

Paul was the only Republican vote in favor of the resolution in the latest vote. The only Democratic no came from Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman. Republican Senator Jim Justice of West Virginia did not vote.

I got an alert and a warning, my first ever. I love this party with all my heart and have donated time, money, and activism for many decades. It is frightening to think someone could run as a Democrat but govern as a Republican. In these dark, perilous times, we must be vigilant. The party of Trump would like nothing more than to destroy our party from within.

Fetterman who I can only presume has residual “issues” from his strokes and psychological issues-despite all the support and benefit of the doubt he has gotten and despite turning against DEM positions…Well we are entering primary season and that does not strictly apply. Not to mention that unmoving adherence to that rule/policy would have had most of us facing consequences for speaking out against Swalwell. Not an absolute…

are attacking US. The answers were a bit vague. All I know is, people who have known him for years say that the stroke has not changed him. People tried to warn us during the primary.

Apparently, a second, debilitating or more serious stroke is the only answer.
