The good news? He's getting out there and speaking up. The bad news? Pamela Brown gave him about five minutes and did not ask him any questions about his vision for the state, why he's running, etc.
What did she ask him about? Well, she wanted to know how much he knew about Swalwell beforehand. Okay, fair question. But then she went on to quote Elise Stefanik (who had just been on the show before Becerra for almost a half hour interview/book tour). She said Stefanik criticized Dem leadership for not handling Swalwell sooner.
Becerra did not skip a beat. Paraphrasing his response: Excuse me? The party who has their leader, trump, who has faced countless sex abuse claims is criticizing Democrats?
He may be low key, but he's no pushover.

(25,137 posts)Almost half the show! First 15 minutes she spouted her BS without being called on it very much and then they broke for a commercial to come back for another segment so she could push her new book. Becerra got between five and ten minutes total and had to spend the whole time talking about Swalwell.
