CA-GOV: New Poll Finds Steyer and Hilton Leading in California

A new SurveyUSA poll finds Tom Steyer (D) leading the California gubernatorial race with 21% of likely voters and Steve Hilton (R) second at 18% in the jungle primary.

Eric Swalwell, who resigned after bombshell sexual assault allegations, polled at third with 9% of voters.

a man committing serious sexual misconduct.

I am sad about the loss of both of them in this race.

I'm tired of billionaires buying elections. I just think you shouldn't start a political career at governor, just because you gave a lot of people a lot of money. Nor do I think being able to make money makes you the best leader.

Looking into Becerra, but does he have a chance? ...Man, California should have enough talent to generate enthusiasm and not be in fear of handing it to Republicans.

very chummy with Silicon Valley execs.

In my view the only thing he brings to the table is making it more likely it won't be two Democrats in the general election, but a Democrat and a republican, or worse, two republicans because the Democrats will fragment the votes among themselves.
