Just as the GOP complained about for years, but it will have been created mostly due to themselves... when will fiscal conservatives finally wake up about the GOP? Never I assume because fiscal conservatives are fake as shit.

They rob the country blind, run up the debt, and then cut all services.

Dems get back in power and fill up the piggy bank again.

he wanted the U. S. government to be so small that you could drown it in a bathtub.

I interpreted that to mean he wanted to cut every social program that helped the middle class and the poor so that the rich didn't have to pay taxes. But, defense spending was okay. He didn't want the government to provide services to help Americans with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Getting back to the deficit, I think of it this way. If I'm heavily in debt, I find a way to increase my income. Today's conservatives spend and spend and spend while decreasing the government's income.

Yes the GOP goal is to get rid of all essential public services, such as education, infrastructure, and social safety nets, medicare, social security.

Yes the rich don't want to pay taxes. They believe all money belongs to them.
And they don't need or want us. We serve no purpose in their lives.

The rich are inventing AI and robots.

They don't even need human slave labor any more.
So they are getting rid of healthcare, vaccines, food banks, etc.
